This Grandpa & Granddaugher Duo is Saving Japan's Pearl Industry
Toshihiro is one of the oldest pearl farmers in Japan. At the age of 87, he has been producing pearls in the same way for almost 70 years. Although his skills are parallel to none, Japan's pear industry is in decline, as the once vast network of farmers in the region grow old and hang up their hats for good.
But the future is not too bleak, as his 35-year-old granddaughter Nanami has stepped in to learn the trade and also come up with some new innovations that could be the start of the next big pearl craze.
Her brand Seven Three was the first in the world to start selling "goldfish pearls".
Named goldfish pearls because of their uncanny resemblance to tiny little fish, the beautiful shapes are naturally occurring phenomenon and are the latest trend thanks to Nanami's business prowess!

I have to do this one day! I say, one of bucket list.
Tamahagane is rarest iron lump that can be made by melting the iron sand.this process take patient and time..that why this katana is expensive
I wish that family have a son in the future
Do they even know there’s flooring , wall paint etc out there? Not even talking decent cameras and microphones. Wake up!
So what is the unemployment rate over there?
Sanitary also I believe as of today maybe best way to cook at the restaurants in the future. They don't take smoke breaks, it doesn't take bathroom breaks, it's not talking and wasting time cooking?
SASKE!!!!
I Am here
Kakashi?
Great idea to build the tallest buildings in the world!!! Sky tree.
He's so beautiful, like watching trees bend with the wind without breaking, fascinating to watch, it's beautiful 😊❤.
i love the LOVBOT he's so cute
The last time I was in Japan it was 360 yen to the dollar.
Ninjitsu isn’t a real thing
I had an idea for keanu to play Joe whatever from shinobi he has to rescue pop star Pamela Anderson on a island in Asia but has no weapons so makes them at a old steel forge Al Pachino is the gender bending bad guy at the end who Keanu has to beat he is a old asian demon awakened, American Reeves is on holiday when it all kicks off in a movie based entirely on the first shinobi!
The 80's was ninja crazy!
Very little is known of the ninja apparently it literally means assassin, they were put to work the called up randomly from everyday life (a little like Jason Bourne) many doubt they even existed and are a modern creation!
Best couple, GODBLESSED you more
What a wonderful family’s. Beautiful baby. Good luck.
sip
Any information on how I could attend these kinds of expo/conference???
Real ninjas have to have melanin in there bodies
Great work
Most all these so-called masters today are pale skin... They copied all indigenous people's skills and assigned different caucasians their culture and language as if the melanated ppl didn't invent or master anything... They took the credit and put a different face on it. No problem with who does what but for so much time, effort and money to spent on deceiving and keeping the truth hid, as well as melanated Asians, arabs, Mexicans, Irish ect, makes it a noticeable problem.
I'm impressed ' legit as possible in this day and age
All the Naruto weebs are watching
cool but why do you keep saying EvanJellyon😭

Ninja's are from China. (Adding this comment Sat 6th April 2024: The Assassin's Creed has lived over 1000 years in the Mountains between India and china, they were used by Sultans/Emperors/Khans in various Kingdoms before the 11th Century tò infiltrate and assassinate VIP's of that era)
Incorrect
The Ninja & Samurai are entirely Japanese. The Martial Arts Specialist are Chinese.
@@JonFromWA in the 15th century mercenaries were trained in Japan but does not mean they were japanese.
@@lisaroberts8556 the training was carried out in Japan but the actual ninjas were mercenaries
Mantp🇮🇩
Was the studio made for the Alice in Borderland series? I can't seem to find anything that explicitly says so, but articles about how AiB was filmed seem to hint at it?
Nothing, but just a jungle of concrete . Japanese are really unlucky people. Though they are full of amenities, their hearts are filled with despair and depression. Nothing excites them.
Γεια σου ρε λεβέντη! Να σε καλά εσύ και η οικογένεια σου. Τα σέβη μου. Δημήτρης Χαρβαλιάς
Stop the planet, I want to get off. Before my kids and grandkids can't get jobs.
As I am the cat lover as the cat person, I recently have heard about cat islands of Japan and other Ancient Japanese cat folk sores. I really like cats and kittens at best.
This man could even turn rebar and spring steel into a badass folded knife.
This guy may have taught Keanu Reeves……but I taught this ninja everything he knows
#846 BISA TAPI ORANG 🇮🇩
Thanks for showing the aeriel view of my favourite city 👍🏻
Weird question but what are the names of the clothes that the husband wears when is forging the knife(around 11:41)?
Hi Guys.. Do you want quality Damascus steel with different patterns with very ecomical prices.. I Bet you.. You will amaze with my work and price too.. Just leave a massage here and i will give you detail 🙂👍💐
I was unaware of this guy until today, and i thought the only person in all of Japan who could call themself a "ninja" was an elderly man. I also thought the only way to call yourself any resemblance of "ninja" you would have had to be trained by the aforementioned man.
until when is the museum? do they still have the AR? planning to go there 2025 :)
It is so refreshing to see a real woman rather than the complaining entitled ones in my country.
